Lakewood YMCA

Turns out The Village People were right. It was fun to stay at the Lakewood Y, especially in the ‘70s and ‘80s. Due to budget cuts, it was shut down, and the role it played was never filled. When it was rebuilt, the goal was to make people who had only heard about how awesome the place used to be excited about its re-opening.

We created a retro-inspired landing page. We also created video content from former members and staff to show the role the Y had played in the community.
